The Blaufränkisch dominated ‘Phantom’ was launched in 1987, rewriting wine history, as the first Austrian premium cuvee. Kirsch and roasted plum, juniper, thyme and rosemary combined with dark roast aromas of leather and tobacco from ageing for 18 months in small oak. Dark aromatics, many layered and complex, yet fresh and minty. Ageable for another 10 years. One of the most famous Austrian wines! Enjoy with lamb stew or Ragù. .
